an added safety idea for this one or a future project: get some brass or copper sheet and make a couple of point protectors, that way the tip of the blade wont wear through the leather when it gets wet or when you sit down... just cut them out, punch stitching holes in them and stitch them either on the outside or inside...
I appreciate it, Karl. I do like the idea of the plating; we'll see how that goes. I have since made an additional one for the same knife that I sold to a friend that is of exponentially better quality. I need to have my belt knife re-hardened; and I'm definitely going to take that advice to add to its sheath.
